Knaresborough Bed Race

North Yorkshire Horizons Teams from across the county took part in the Annual Knaresborough bed race.

The team paraded through the streets with Toy story themed bed proudly flying the North Yorkshire Horizons flag in front of a record 30000 people who lined the streets all the way. Following the parade the team ran the bed and passenger  around the 2.5 mile course which includes a ¼ mile climb up one of the steepest streets in North Yorkshire, round the town centre and through dreaded Nidd River.

The team included: Steve, Graham, Kev, Ben, Kieran, Martha, James and the marshalls were Andrea and Liz. NYH got great support all day long and around the course many familiar faces were seen amongst the crowd cheering us on.
