Glenda is a fully qualified counsellor and offers her services solely on a volunteering basis for the Northallerton Service.
Stephen Flood, Volunteer and Peer Mentor Coordinator at North Yorkshire Horizons, said: “Glenda has a very warm and welcoming personality and has an inherent desire to support others to stay well and make positive choices in their lives.

In addition, to counselling support, Glenda offers an holistic approach to recovery and runs mindfulness groups in the Northallerton Hub. Glenda’s husband Nicholas drives to the hub twice a week and waits for her in the car park until she finishes. Together they provide a very welcome and much needed service to our clients.
Glenda said: “I enjoy helping people, it is my passion.”
