Former Horizons service user, Rob Matthews, who now runs the Chatterbox community cafe, in Finkle Street, Selby was delighted to help clients’ families during Christmas.
Kind hearted Rob provided Horizons’ Sam Thomson free tickets for breakfasts so service users’ children could eat a meal, meet Santa and get an early Christmas present.
Sam said: “We’re so grateful to Rob. Four of our service users’ children were able to have a wonderful time with their parents having breakfast, meeting Santa, and having a fun-filled morning with games and a party atmosphere and a gift from Santa.
And she added: “A big, big thank you to the community cafe. And also a big thank you for the man in the big red suit with a big bushy beard who made Christmas come early for the children.”Back to News
