Dean Gilpin, a service user at our Scarborough hub recently won a Christmas hamper full of goodies.
Dean was one of over 30 Scarborough clients who had pledged to make a change to their drinking habits. He won the hamper after his pledge was randomly picked out of a hat.
Dean said: “I’m very thankful to have won the hamper. And I’m very appreciative of the support I receive from North Yorkshire Horizons”
Helen Yellen, his Recovery Coordinator, said: “Dean was a daily drinker of 14 units per day but has progressed and reduced to drinking just once per week and has maintained this for the last 18 months with the support for North Yorkshire Horizons.”Back to News
