A report on the growing impact of North Yorkshire Horizons has been released, showing how together with service users, we are changing lives for the better in the county.
The report covers our service’s achievements, the added value offered and the work of our dedicated volunteers and staff.
Ted Haughey, Executive Director, of Humankind, said: “The report really brings to life what a fantastic year it has been.
“But this wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated team of staff and volunteers across the County that I am very proud to call my colleagues.
“People who we see in our five hubs around the county have shown incredible strength and commitment, which the team finds constantly inspiring.
“The partner organisations who form North Yorkshire Horizons also bring a collective dedication to keep improving the service as can be seen from the added value throughout the report.”
The 2017/18 figures show 2,292 people accessed Horizons, Nearly 24,000 calls were handled by our phone operators.Back to News
